House Tour

Mainly for Kristen's benefit (she kept asking me to do it) here is a quick tour of the house we are renting on Norfolk...

Dave's 38th Birthday

On the 31st of March it was Dave's birthday. Abi helped me decorate a cake for him (it tasted better than it looked thank goodness!) and then Oli and Abi both helped him blow out the candles. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!

Piggies piggies piggies!!!

A pig belonging to a friend of ours (Ro who teaches at the school) has just had baby piggies!! Abi had to be restrained from jumping in the pen with them and loving them all to death!! She wanted to bring one home. Oli captured the occasion on his camera. VERY CUTE!!

Dave's fishing trip

Dave was all excited about going on a fishing trip with some mates who were going to finally show him some of the 'local spots'. Given he hasn't had much luck catching fish since we arrived (except for the odd shark!) he was most excited about the prospect of having an endless supply of fish from this day forward. All he had to do was scale the side of a cliff and get down here:

Unfortunately, Dave's fear of heights (and in particular cliff edges) put a stop to our potential endless supply of fish and he had to be happy to sit up the top photographing the bird life and watching his mates down below:

Never mind Dave, we will just keep buying our fish from the professionals...

Cows cows and more cows...

We are surrounded by cows. These guys (girls actually) like to hang around and block our driveway. Thank goodness for cattle grids!!

Abi and Oli love eggs on toast!

I think these two would eat eggs on toast all day every day if they could! Lucky we have chooks!

Outside Archie!!

We have taught Archie he is not allowed to come inside. He is pretty compliant with this rule...most of the time!!
